11 Ways to Repurpose Content on Instagram

Repurposing your content is a great way to bring back old ideas and make them fresh and new. Reaching your customers with content, let’s call it pre-choice, can be a boon for many reasons. Do you need to know how to reuse the content?

It gives you a break from creating original content. Producing brand-new content daily for social media platforms can be challenging for any business where it exists. The reuse of successful posts from the past will ensure some are tested and make reliable progress, even as inspiration. Longtime fans may recognize them firstly, but for some people, it will be fresh and new.

An added benefit of repurposing your content is, it can dominate and enhance your message. Perhaps you were distracted by what you popularized with your followers in the first place. The return of evergreen content is an opportunity to re-emphasize the things that initially attract people to your brand.

1- Change YouTube video size for IGTV

While IGTV is not new as an informative carousel and guide, I have noticed that many brands hesitate to jump into it, even when they create video content on their websites, other platforms such as Facebook or YouTube.

Crop and resize videos to make IGTV compatible is simple and straightforward, especially with editing software or social media tools such as templates for cupping. You can also use your YouTube video description as an IGTV signature and upload it from your computer.

2- Screenshot of your best tweet

Now, don’t forget to take screenshots of your best tweets. And if you are not already on Twitter, consider posting your best quotes on Twitter. Even design templates create quote graphics that look like a tweet without sending an actual tweet.

3- Choose the most comfortable option.

I still don’t understand; quotes posted as screenshots of tweets usually perform better than posting the same quote on Instagram in a different image style.

If you are creating written content for Twitter, it makes it much easier for Instagram content. Some people (myself included) prefer to “come up” with a background photo or a brand image, but it is not.

4- Create video teasers and clips

In addition to posting the entire YouTube or long video to IGTV, you can also use the same tool and workflow to create short clips that promote the entire piece.

It allows you to get multiple Instagram posts from one YouTube video.

Instagram is similar to splitting your text messages into a series of posts, from which you can create a series of posts, each dedicated to a specific topic from your big video.

5- Create the stories of your best Instagram content

My last tip for remodeling Instagram got a little meta. In addition to sharing content from other platforms on your Instagram feed, make sure you share everything from your Instagram feed to your Instagram stories as well.

Many users expect to spend more time browsing stories than scrolling through feeds, enabling them to view your feed’s content.

Once you share something in your stories, you can save it in the stories highlight to appear as evergreen content at the top of your profile.

6- Summarize Long-Form Content in Instagram Carousels

The first thing to talk about is Instagram carousel. After all, this is where they end up on the list of the most exciting types of Instagram posts.

The carousel is ideal for sharing more extensively written content created for different platforms, such as web blog posts, podcast notes, e-books, and emails.

You need to do it because it will depend on creating content just for original content or attracting users for unique content.

If you are creating a native-only carousel for Instagram, you can type each type of long content into 1 or 2 slides and use a caption to represent the whole thing and have enough people in it. Can draw to scroll with.

In the final step, use a call to action for engagement drives such as review, post, and save.

If you are creating a teaser for specific content, you can extract some of the most exciting quotes or pieces of information to make people scroll. Then you need to use the CTA on the last slide so that people can jump to regular content.

7- Pin your Instagram post on Pinterest

Pinning Instagram content to Pinterest is another excellent way to drive traffic to your Instagram. Some types of content perform much better on Pinterest than others.

For example, food and fashion photography are fine, but not a flat desktop. On Pinterest, long graphics with multiple photos and text overlays are considered a Pinterest-optimized image… it is impossible to post entirely to Instagram and then pin to Pinterest.

However, it is worth experimenting with because it can effectively get people back to your Instagram for some niches and accounts.

8- Embed pictures from Instagram

You can embed pictures from Instagram in your email or on your website. When you insert your images on your website or your email, the entire image becomes a clickable link that takes the clicker back to that post on your Instagram.

On your Desktop, navigate to the image you want to embed. Click on the three dots in the lower right corner of the lightbox. Then click on the “Insert” menu item. A new lightbox will appear with a code. You can enable the signature or not. Take the code and paste it into the HTML of your website to host the image.

9- Website Widgets & Applications

In addition to embedding individual Instagram photos, as I just mentioned above, you can embed the entire Instagram feed on your website.

With Squarespace, you can easily display your Instagram feed with the Instagram block feature. You can read more about Instagram and Squarespace here.

If you have a WordPress website, there are various widgets on your website that will display your Instagram feed or a fixed hashtag feed of your choice. I currently use WP Instagram Widget, but merely searching for “Instagram” in the WordPress plugin store will find tons of options!

10- Lead magnets

Instead of dividing your blog into several marketing collateral pieces, you are gathering several blogs into one effective unit. Take your best, most useful and popular blogs and combine them into one eBook. Or use them as a platform to create webinars. If your blog is unique and valuable, you can turn it into an online course and monetize it.

11- Podcast

Relevant if you host a podcast or visit them often. A high-level blog can be turned into a podcast automatically, with each new article worth a series. An excellent blog a month can provide enough content for a thirty-minute podcast or ten-minute interview to think about whether you want to build authority and authority in your field.
